night thorn seed problem

hi i did something Stupid and seem to have trapped myself

I wasn’t really paying super close attention during the new Forgotten memories quests when Scar told me to plant the night thorn seeds, I thought he was suggesting spots to plant them, not giving me a set requirement. I just planted them all around his den, like, okay, sure, you like the night thorns? here you go!

but then nothing happened and I looked at the quest requirements… and realized they were supposed to be planted in specific spots….

I can’t dig them up. Watering them made them grow a little but didn’t change anything. Talking to scar doesn’t give me an option to reset or get more seeds. Leaving and coming back doesn’t reset it. The game had already autosaved at some point before I realized I had a problem. So……. nnnnnow what? 😥

Yeah, just did this one myself and it made me worry. Seemed very easy to screw up, they gave you 25 seeds and plant 5x near these 3 things isn't what I would call exact.
That sort of puzzle usually should come with some sort of reset as a safety at least. Like the old rock moving puzzles in 2D top down games.

There’s a table near the entrance of the mines where you can pick up more seeds! I screwed up the planting too and was so worried I messed up my game! 😅

And thats how the entire valley got covered in thorns, you all planted too many seeds
