The “mechanical eye” that I looked up what it is and know how to do it but when I click the answer nothing happens with the door (sorry for the bad translation, it’s so I don’t spoil it) why isn’t the thing opening the door or even turning into an glowy door or anything?

it is one of your tools. here is a hint, you probably have one in real life, probably laying somewhere nearby at all times. you can get the door open in a SNAP.
