Purple books

Anyone know how many of those purple notebooks there are?
I'm thinking so far there might be one for each biome but I haven't found them all yet. And now I have to go back and re-read the ones I did to write down the clues. XP

Wonder if the odd little zen garden patch appearing in forgotten will be related to this.

Not sure about the notebooks, but the new garden patch area in the Forgotten area is related to the Fairy Godmother's quests. She addresses it beginning (I think) at level 4.

I have found 6 so far. Once you find all of them you use the portal in the cave in the Frosted Heights. Each of the yellow words in the books are answers to questions. There are more than 6 books as there are 2 questions I don't have answers for. Also the questions follow the order of the experiment numbers.

@analaigh, oh I didn't know that, unfortunately after the initial quest the fairy godmother went to sleep in my game so I couldn't progress any further. Hopefully she'll be awake today though. :)
@bluemax755, thank you! So there should be 8 in all then, good to know. I'll keep looking and writing down numbers and words in preparation, but now I also know where to go when that is done. Awesome.

I was able to find 8 of 10 before I just said screw it and brute forced the last two. The books will disappear from the world once you obtain the purple potato.

Try researching on the Wiki. It's VERY tedious. VERY VERY tedious. Even for End-Game phase, it's still a huge chore to do this hidden quest. Without the wiki, I do not think anyone sane could've figured out that all these mysterious objects mean. LOL.
