Unable to save to the cloud
Since the Dreamsnaps update I have been unable to save to the cloud. It just keeps saying "failed to upload Cloud Save to server." My internet is completely fine and I don't have any problems with other steam games saving. Anyone else having this issue?

Have you tried going into the HELP menu and using the manual cloud save? That seems to be the gold standard- and you get a confirmation- for saving to the cloud.

I usually save on the main screen- go to help- do the cloud save- and then exit.

Don't ask why they did it that way- seems like it is important enough to be out on the main screen- maybe even connected directly to the save.

The other steam games are saving to steam cloud service, while DDLV is saving to a Gameloft cloud server, so you can't really compare the two to say that steam cloud works so Gameloft cloud should also be working. There have been a lot of posts recently on discord about being unable to save to the cloud (primarily from xbox), so it sounds like you need to open a support ticket with GL so they know that there's still a problem with cloud save.

Yes, I have tried the in game cloud save and that is where it is giving me the error. :(

That is too bad. Be aware that the cloud save is really only helpful if you plan to play on multiple devices. I have been using it since I plan to make a new PC purchase soon and it may make transferring over easier. I also make my own backup of the DDV directory on my harddrive as another backup.

Not sure why it is not working for you. It has been rock solid for me the last three or four months.

Hope a report to GL gets it done for you.

Have you played on a different device? I've had this happen many times. I play between my pc, Steamdeck, and laptop. The best way I've been able to fix it is by logging back into the game on the last device I was playing on and doing the cloud save there, then going back to the device that wasn't loading the Cloud Save. That's helped me get mine working again.
