Nope a lot of people have this issue Bleep, but maybe 4000 dollar a year on a Disney game sounds OK to you. But sadly not everyone is that rich
Yes you could be right Myth Alric, but the official post said *might*, so it could be also not the case or not the case for 8 months for example.... Still one cyrcle is more then a triple A game. One of the core mercanics of this game is collecting! You even have a tab where you can track your progress....
Agree, they making collecting a pay to win, make quality of starpath lower and dont fix scrooges shop to be more likely sell you stuff that you dont own.
Last time with villager skins newly added we got it in the Star Path!
With houseskins? Nope! They should have put the castle or another houseskin in the starpath as end reward.
Around Sims 4 prices seems ok?
I dont mind buying moonstones for packs of decor...but these are def overpriced.
I get this will be Free to Play, and the average cost of a DLC, and purchasing these things helps fund the games growth and the time to make it - and all of that is fine with me- however these are way out of balance IMHO.
The Sims 4 is now Free to Play.
A Stuff Pack is $10 and has approx 20 different decor items plus additional in other colors, and about 30 hair and clothing options with additional color variations. Far more than all the items available on that page in the shop.
Game Packs are $20 with additional clothing, decor, building and a small job/story path.
Expansion Packs are $40 With a new map, New job, complete new job/story and all of the above.
Now $10 for 2500 Moonstones, which wont even let you purchase 3 pieces of furniture or a skin for a house is a bit absurd in comparison.
It is an OP issue. Nothing forcing you to buy stuff. The quests and characters are not tied into that. If they start charging moonstones to just play the game, I would leave a negative review.
As it sits, happy to have someone else fund the development for me. If you can't say no to non-essential items in a game that cost real money, you got problems. By the way, your extended warranty is about to expire....
If you bought the most expensive package at the start, you kind of signaled to them you have a lot of money and willing to spend it. I do feel for people who want to get 100%, but also I think you will enjoy the game a lot more if you don't try to get 100% of everything.
You are kind of saying, well you wouldn't pay $4000 dollars to clear everything, but maybe you would spend $1000?
No you dont see the point, one of the core mechanics of this game is collecting! They even have a collecting tab... it got now pay to win to collect 100%! And sure they can ask money! Maybe 200 a year? Still will be a big supporter then... but 4000 dollar never in my life! They should not add FOMO to it and they should also then not put it in the collecting tab.
And wich game ever opens a shop like this in Early Acces! Sure...
No more like 200 $ max a year. Sounds fair doesnt it? It would be enough for you to keep playing the game for free (off my and all the other buyers support) while not making it impossible to collect everything
