PLEASE! Change your review to negative! (While we still have a change)
Dear all,

I love Dreamlight Valley, I really do. But I changed my review to negative yesterday. Why? The Premium shop! I want to complete the shop 100%... I am a completer... I already had 93% of the furniture and 100% of the clothes. But becoming a collector will come at a price from now on. It would cost 55 dollar every 5 days to get all the items. So thats 73 times 55 dollar a year: Grand total 4051 dollar per year!

I cannot afford over 4000 Dollar a year to complete a game 100%! I feel like I wasted so much ennergy for nothing! Now I can never complete the catalogus!

But we still have time! We should let the Devs know our displeasure!
CHANGE YOUR REVIEW TO NEGATIVE NOW! NOW WE STILL HAVE A CHANGE!!
(We will all change it back to positive when they fixed it.)

Thanks,
Bas

Nope a lot of people have this issue Bleep, but maybe 4000 dollar a year on a Disney game sounds OK to you. But sadly not everyone is that rich :steamhappy:

I am sure the items will cycle through the premium shop. I doubt there is 73 different premium shop purchases. So it is unlikely it costs that much.

Yes you could be right Myth Alric, but the official post said *might*, so it could be also not the case or not the case for 8 months for example.... Still one cyrcle is more then a triple A game. One of the core mercanics of this game is collecting! You even have a tab where you can track your progress....

The Premium Shop is ridiculous - the equivalent of $20 for the palace skin for your house. Are they joking? What makes it even more insulting is they have done nothing to Scrooge's Shop which rarely has anything new let alone items you don't already own.

Agree, they making collecting a pay to win, make quality of starpath lower and dont fix scrooges shop to be more likely sell you stuff that you dont own.

Last time with villager skins newly added we got it in the Star Path!
With houseskins? Nope! They should have put the castle or another houseskin in the starpath as end reward.

They gave everyone different house colors for free though. Let me ask you this, how much would you be willing to pay to get 100% of all items?

Around Sims 4 prices seems ok?

I dont mind buying moonstones for packs of decor...but these are def overpriced.

I get this will be Free to Play, and the average cost of a DLC, and purchasing these things helps fund the games growth and the time to make it - and all of that is fine with me- however these are way out of balance IMHO.

The Sims 4 is now Free to Play.
A Stuff Pack is $10 and has approx 20 different decor items plus additional in other colors, and about 30 hair and clothing options with additional color variations. Far more than all the items available on that page in the shop.
Game Packs are $20 with additional clothing, decor, building and a small job/story path.
Expansion Packs are $40 With a new map, New job, complete new job/story and all of the above.

Now $10 for 2500 Moonstones, which wont even let you purchase 3 pieces of furniture or a skin for a house is a bit absurd in comparison.

Gosh, it is almost like they never made it clear how they planned to fund the game development. I already got my money's worth. I guess if I knew I was unable to bypass cosmetic items because of price I would have known better then to start playing....or would quit now.

It is an OP issue. Nothing forcing you to buy stuff. The quests and characters are not tied into that. If they start charging moonstones to just play the game, I would leave a negative review.

As it sits, happy to have someone else fund the development for me. If you can't say no to non-essential items in a game that cost real money, you got problems. By the way, your extended warranty is about to expire....:steammocking:

My first and only review of the game was negative from the moment i got this dumb update and it fu cked up my game, i cant continue my game because the error #7 appears in the loading screen all the time (wich usually happens by closing the game with the well feed buff on) and when i tried making an account for the cloud save now it doesnt let me log out of it, it says it doesnt find my local save so my only options are new game, cancel or retry, so now im stuck not being able to play a game i paid 80€ for and not being able to log out of the cloud save

I bought the cheapest early access package, so I was never going to get 100% to start with. The same is true for anyone who doesn't buy the most expensive package, they can never get 100% anyway. So I don't think most people are worried about getting 100%.

If you bought the most expensive package at the start, you kind of signaled to them you have a lot of money and willing to spend it. I do feel for people who want to get 100%, but also I think you will enjoy the game a lot more if you don't try to get 100% of everything.

You are kind of saying, well you wouldn't pay $4000 dollars to clear everything, but maybe you would spend $1000?

No you dont see the point, one of the core mechanics of this game is collecting! They even have a collecting tab... it got now pay to win to collect 100%! And sure they can ask money! Maybe 200 a year? Still will be a big supporter then... but 4000 dollar never in my life! They should not add FOMO to it and they should also then not put it in the collecting tab.

And wich game ever opens a shop like this in Early Acces! Sure...

No more like 200 $ max a year. Sounds fair doesnt it? It would be enough for you to keep playing the game for free (off my and all the other buyers support) while not making it impossible to collect everything
