Unable to give gifts

Hi, ive just started playing this yesterday, but i cant seem to give any gifts to animals or friends, it was working fine but it started with being unable to give merlin blue furniture, but now i cant complete the wall-e quest by feeding an animal.

Is there any way to fix this?

I feel like they broke feeding animals in the last patch.. I wasn't able to all day yesterday and can't today either.

Can't give Merlin a meal to complete A lesson in Frustration

Yeah, just saw the other post regarding critters, i managed to get the merlin quest done by taking him inside his house, maybe that will work for your quest aswell

Thanks for the suggestion Rokiroco, The problem seems to have fixed itself, I switched task to help Goofy on the Beach after about 10-20 min I saw Merlin on the beach and he accepted the meal no problems.

So i'm not sure what the problem was, but it seemed similar to the feeding the animals, if only for a short time.

P.S. I still can't feed the critters tho.

Someone on the Discord suggested, if you had 'training books' in your inventory it would prevent you from feeding critters, (due to some glitch) put them in a chest and try again.
It hasn't worked for me but give it a go.

I don't have any training book, nor Mirabel unlocked as well, none of your answers worked unfortunatelly
Just bought the game and can't progress on Merlin and Wall E quest :')

The way I fixed Lesson in Frustration was i put all of my 2 Star+ Meals in my storage, cooked a new one, and then he accepted that.
