Companion gets me stuck
We need to be able to push the residents much better than we are currently or be able to pass through them.

I'm currently in Remy's restaurant, made food for two residents and Mickey-my selected companion has me stuck in the small kitchen section, making it impossible to give the food I've cooked and continue to hang out with him for the hour-if I release him.

You can release and re-acquire in the restaurant.

It is worse when it soft locks your game, had Maui on gardening, he was pushable but got stuck at a 2 tree corner, so was in infinite walk animation.
Solid friends are the worst for doorways, also causing infinite walk. Be careful if you are towing around an unpushable if you enter buildings, make sure to clear the doorway before exit.

Dito, like a rock. Really annoying.

FYI, the time is cumulative. You don't have to do it in one outing. You can release and recapture once the NPC is out of the way. I did that a lot with Mickey when I had him for an hour. It just picks up where you left off.

That's a cute work-around & glad we can do it—but having it addressed by the devs would be nice. :fhog2_rainbow_star:

Has anyone figured out why they are becoming immovable? Is it completely random? I've released and recaptured companions and like the third time, they are suddenly movable again. Sometimes they become obstinate in the middle of gardening tho even when they were moving before. That's the worst.
Also, if you are on PC, sometimes Alt-Tab X2 (in and out of the game) works to resolve the infinite walk in doorways or getting stuck on the way out of a sticky building.

They just bug out. I've gotten to the point that I can tell when it happens. You're just going along, harvesting stuff, and then something happens; immovable. As to what causes it, couldn't tell you and the developers probably can't figure it out either (hence why it hasn't been fixed). If you can't replicate something easily, it's hard to fix.

That was my issue—Mickey became stuck in place and I was locked into the kitchen at Remy's. The only saving grace at the time & before this post, was that Mickey's timed mission finally ended and I released him, and with that, he began to move on his own, clearing the walkway for me to get finally get out.
