The main difference between the two groups is the crocks are harder to see IMO. Really common for me to get too close before I even know they are there. Then they run a long way and you have to try to follow without losing sight of them. They seem to always run behind something to make it a little harder.
Are you still having issues?
My best advice: look at the raccoon when they stop running. you'll notice that they sit and then stand. when they are sitting, move in closer. when they stand up, stop. keep doing this until you get close enough where the next action for approach appears. I hope this helps <3
I don't know if you've ever played "red light, green light" as a kid but it's kind of like that game. I tell myself green light when they are sitting and red light when they stand.
lol this is exactly what I feel when feeding them, I almost don't breath when they look up xD
