Game freezes on Pop-Up pages

Does anyone else have an issue with the game freezing when you give an NPC an item, pick up a memory, talk to an NPC, etc sometimes? It doesn't always happen, but when it does it's really annoying because I can see other NPC's or plants moving around, but I can't get out of the pop-up, even after giving the NPC an item. I click "Give" or "Cancel" and it just freezes. The only way I can get out of it is Alt+F4 which makes me nervous sometimes that my game won't save my progress to that point.

I also still get locked in Ursula's house when I go inside sometimes. Lol.

Had the game freezing earlier in a popup from Remy too.

I've experienced this a lot, and it's incredibly frustrating. Gotta Alt+F4 or kill with task manager to get out of these situations. Fortunately, it seems the game autosaves every time you do something like giving items for a quest or picking up a memory. I've never lost any progress from these freezes.

It happens now to me everytime I level up friendship with npcs.
Super annopying having to alt+f4 several times during gameplay.

this bug is still present . I even have the impression that it's worse since the game and the DLC were released (I've already had to close the game 5 times in 1h30 because I got stuck giving items to the NPC for quest)
