Issue with KingFish

My Dreamlight hasn't been spawning any form of Kingfish since the Scar update. Wondering if this is just me or if it's a game thing. I can't catch them and Moana's boat doesn't either.

Yep I have 0 Kingfish and 0 Fugu.

I caught kingfish yesterday evening on the beach, and today fugu in the morning, before an update.

Make some blue circles and use the new bait elixer for fishing you get from Merlin.

I got them on the beach but it took hours and its got to be a gold or blue fishing hole

I was trying to catch cod today and caught one in a blue ring on Dazzle beach. Wasnt trying to, but I have Moana fully maxed out (Not so easy now that the mine gem costs went down) and often get them from her.

I got mine. Blue AND white rings at night. Take ramp down from Glade of Trust, first bubble there on the beach spawns the kingfish in both blue & white bubbles.
