Oh those dig holes...
It was a day or two after starting the game that I figured out you could refill holes that you've dug. And it took quite a while to clean up the mess I'd made - the Meadow was chock full of them. I still find it annoying that after digging a glowie spot, I still have to do a second dig to fill it in. And if you miss the spot, then you have 2 spots to clean up.

Yes, I'm obsessive. :)

Suggestions:
1. Digging up glowie spots should not leave a dig hole.
2. Single dig holes should auto fill in after a few hours. Any adjacent holes ( such as in a garden ) should be left alone.

Totally agree! I, too, didn't know at first that you could fill those holes back up. I'm also not real happy that my garden spots disappear after 72 hours of non-use.
Just fill in the hole. Like, What.

You can drop big furniture on holes and they will all fill in. Just drop a few beds and pick them back up. Holes gone.

I had to dig up the Marsh to get so much clay but after 2-3 days the holes all disappeared on their own

I use a house, specifically I prefer Kristoff's house. It covers a huge area very quickly.

I read that it was a few days (72 hours if I remember) and the holes would automatically fill up. Its worked for me, but you do have to wait those days.

Same here I dug so many holes collecting clay that I couldn't be bothered filling them back up, then to my surprise they disappeared after some days probably 2 or 3.
