Multi Platform Purchasing

I purchased the Ultimate Edition on Steam and I want to play on my Switch - does anyone know if I have to purchase the Ultimate Edition again for the Switch or if I get the base game I can still play my cloud save?

just make a cloud acct and then sign in on your switch once you got the game your whole game will transfer

A little bit off your topic here but just curious as to why you're moving? because it's a hot mess on Switch.

I know because I battled through 70 hours of play time, the last few hours of it were horrendous.

I want to be able to play it on my switch when I'm on vacation or not at home haha but don't worry, PC will always be my primary platform for any game.

This is just pure speculation. But I think all you need is the Standard Edition (at least while it's still in early access) and just log on to the Cloud Save account you created on the PC when you start it up on the Switch... I mean, that's the whole point of the cloud, you *should* have all your Ultimate exclusive items.

Or just wait until it goes free to play and save that $29.99*

it looks like you DO have to get the Ultimate Pack for both.

But if you already claimed it on 1 account and you're just continuing your saved game, you should already be golden though. *shrugs*

I believe you do have to purchase the same edition to be able to play on different platforms, so yes you would need the ultimate edition on switch. Unless you played on a separate account on switch

FYI, sometime in the new year it will be a free game. Unless you just can't wait...Wait.
