Use the furniture mode to scan the area! That helps it to be a bit faster.
You do not have to even store flowers in chests. Put some around for decoration. Long as you removed them from where they grew, new ones will grow back in.
Also those flowers you put down for decoration can go dry, and there is your 'water 2 dry flowers' task.
Strange, I tried "storing" some red flowers as decoration near a bench with this trick, but now those red flowers won't grow back on the random places.
Did you store them in a different Biome? If they are in the same Biome they count as currently grown.
Well, that must be the problem. Need to find other red flowers to decorate the surrounding of the benches. Thx!
