Crackling Candy, never received.

In the Scar quest, I never received my Crackling Candy. I made the special Root Beer. But can't continue without the Crackling Candy. Anyone have any ideas. Please help!
I do not want to have to start over, I spent a lot of hours and have over 2 million coins saved, that I worked hard for.

Do you have to craft it? Seems like I vaguely remember there was a step to getting it. I had no issues when I got it so it did not stand out. I may be mis-remembering but seemed like I needed to combine something.

crackling candy is found in the mines, along with the recipe for making root beer.

Thank you for replies. The candy was suppose to be in the chest with the dried ginger, but I never received it. Is this a glitch, has anyone else not receive the crackling candy. Can it be fixed. I don't want to have to start all over. Someone please let me know If I'm gonna have to start over.

I have this quest . Sadly , it's bugging out on me , and I can't add the rootbeer and candy on the barrel .

Definitely don't start over, i think about halfway through events they do a patch of known issues with the new update so this will definitely get sorted quick since it's a main quest

I have this problem as well, along with the issue of it not letting me make anything aside from regular root beer

I thought I was going crazy, but I also do not have the interact feature to add the root beer and the candy to the barrel. Which is a shame its such a bug early on. It's delaying me from returning to the game .

I never received the crackling candy, also. I don't want to start over. I worked hard to get what I have. I have almost 3 million coins. I also have over 39 thousand dreamlight. I hope they fix it.

i never received the crackling candies in the chest either! were you able to resolve this issue by any chance?

Maybe you need to find a green treasure chest inside the mine, there may be inside

Gave it a try and the only green chest is across that bridge to the right as you enter and I can't reach it. I don't know what to do. I just keep on gathering, and planting. I now have almost 5 million gold coins. I just want my crackling candy, it's very sad I can't continue. I'm almost ready to give up or start over and I really don't want to start over. Sigh # what to do, #sad. Trying to be patient, but it is getting very hard to do as time passes.

Thank you so much for the help, but I crossed the stone path/bridge, smashed every mining spot and the only thing I got was gold, gems, etc... but no chest :-( Sadly I may be stuck where I'm at. I do appreciate the help. If you happen to hear of any other solution let me know.
