Crackling Candies

I somehow lost my candies and now i can't make my barrel explode. Is there somehow i can get more candies or am i just screwed.

You can cook candy - its in the receipt list. But for the barrel to explode you do not need the candy. You need the special ginger you picked up in the mines.

And I am stuck because I used the auto-fill option to cook the root-beer, now it doesn't recognize the root-beer as cooked.

If you use the auto-fill you cook the normal root beer that you can craft anytime but for the quest you have to cook the extra fizzling root beer with the special ginger from the mine. its not the same maybe thats why it doesnt count.

You need the Fizzy Root Beer and the Crackling Candy. I don't have my Crackling Candy, it never gave it to me. Have the Fizzy Root Beer, which I made with the Dried Ginger that I did get. Tried making barrel explode need to have both there is two boxes you transfer the Fizzy Root Beer and Crackling Candy to. So like me you may be screwed. I'm realizing I may have no choice but start game over. I don't want to, but can't go any further. Sad because I have worked hard and have almost 7 million coins and over 40 thousand star magic. Where is the update that was suppose to fix this, was told to be patient, I have been more than patient. So very sadly may be starting over. #very sad, #No Crackling Candy

strange happening today, when I first saw I did not have the crackling candy I looked through all of my chests and it was not there I promise you. Now after after since Scar came out all of a sudden today of all days I went to look at one of my chests and OMG there was the crackling candy, now where it came from i do not know but I was so very happy to see it. I'm thinking they did a fix and it was added to my inventory. But to say I was shocked, flabbergasted would be an understatement. But also so very happy, not it means I do not have to start over and lose what I had worked hard for. Check inventories/chests you may now have what you were missing. I hope your all lucky like I was.
