moana dress is now BLUE?!

I saw in the patch notes something about fixing Moana's level 10 dress reward to a corrected color palette... I just loaded my game and it went from a beautiful dress in red and tan and orange to an awful all blue tone monstrosity... it doesn't remind me of Moana at all anymore!! Is the blue the "corrected" color, or is mine now showing the wrong color?

If the blue is the new "standard" I could see maybe implementing an option to buy other color versions of the reward dresses (or other items too) from Scrooge's store. Or create a dye station. It could be handy for lots of items that don't match the look people are trying to go for.

This bothered me too! I was all excited to get her dress due to the color scheme, and while the blue doesn't look horrible to me, I feel like it could have been added a different way :(

It just makes no sense to change it to a color that has nothing to do with Moana. All the other dresses match the person it came from. On top of that, the blue version lost some of the detail on the skirt... it's just an odd decision.

Honestly I'm not fond of the blue either! As you say some detail seems to have been lost and it's not Moana's colours at all.

Kind of looks like someone used the fill option in a paint program.

I wouldn't mind it but purchased or won separately please. Not in replacement of the old one.

Although, I do not mind the blue Moana dress.. I wish I still had the original color as well.. maybe should have added it in Scrooge's store or give us the extra item for free as an add on.

Yes it seemed more authentic before - I wonder if there was a design similarity issue ?? (A designer somewhere said it was too like theirs?) Why would they suddenly dye it blue?

I am not a big fan of the blue either. When I first saw it, I go to her level 10 friendship so fast just to get it. I really do miss the original version. PLEASE BRING IT BACK!!!

We should honestly be able to change the colors of all or most items anyway. I mean they already have such an elaborate character creation that this would be really easy to add. And I don't like the blue either. It would be fine if we could choose between the blue and the previous one..

after wearing it in the game, it was strange but it gave me ocean vibes? like waves? which might have been the point BUT they should've left it alone to look like Moana's culture. Nonetheless, the dress itself is pretty.
