After lvl 10, are gifts and conversations worth it?

Like the subject says, after you have a lvl 10 relationship, does giving a gift or having their daily discussion worth it? I understand some duties specifically call for it, but beyond that?

I haven't noticed any other reason implemented yet, so I don't really bother.

Yes, it's worth it if you are farming dreamlight. The dreamlight duties will have tasks such as giving 1 friend their favorite gift , giving 2 gifts (any gift, not necessarily a favorite gift) to 2 friends or having 1 daily conversation. You don't need to do it other than for the duties though.

You can use those things to gain dreamlight (as others said too), and sometimes in gathering things for the NPC requests, you can also kick loose a Memory orb etc. So yes.

I also hope that the points are quietly accruing so that once they level up the potential the levels will zoom upward. From our past points. I have seen that happen in other games, and it's great to watch that.

What about serving meals at the restaurant? It may sound like I'm trying to do less, but it's the opposite. I'm trying to find stuff to do. I Have almost 100 of each fruit and veg. I have 300-400 of each wood except the last one which I'm working on. I'm desperate for something to do to keep coming into the game. I love it and I want to be here, but just grinding every day all day is getting to me. Thanks all for your input!

I recently finished the Star Path duty of serving 10 customers at Chez Remy.

I often asked myself this, and I wonder why the pink stars still come out of them, as though they are levelling, so maybe this will be added when it releases to the wider audience. However, I do still give gifts etc, as I am currently working through all the dreamlight duties, as I no longer have quests or characters to level:)
