Wall E quest bug ?

I'm stuck here too, I have talked to Scrooge and gathered a bunch of garnets but I still can't progress. Seems like a bug.

Scrooge's dialogue acknowledged my 2 garnet gems and "gave me a fire extinguisher" but it's not in my inventory and the gems weren't taken. I proceeded to get the ball and shoe but I'm stuck on that quest now too. Tried restarting, talking to Scrooge and Wall-E again but nothing.

This is on Xbox Game Pass so I can't get to an earlier save either. Hope we can just buy the darn thing.

Will run this through when I get to it, but if its an xbox issue recommend emailing [e-mail], state your issue and you're using xbox version. There is a discord channel also, but I don't know the invite as I no longer use Discord.

i have a problem with this to. i have already 4 garnets but the mission tracker still says: 0/2..
also i can not speak to scrooge about this mission it not shows up, if i speak to him

Same here. I've still got garnets, and don't have extinguisher. Quest step says to make sure it's in my inventory, but it never was and Scrooge won't talk about it now.

I'm on pc, and same here have the boot and ball, no extinguisher, and Scrooge does not have any more dialogue about it.

I'm on PC, and same has happened... unsure if took the gems or not, but I have progressed to where I have all but the extinguisher. I just gave up and continued to do other things in the game as I am too far to reset. Hopefully there is a way to get it, even if it is through the catalog or rebuying it.

Auch ich habe die Granate zu Dagobert Duck gebracht aber keinen Feuerlöscher im Inventar! Kann daher die Aufgabe nicht beenden. Der Support hat noch nicht geantwortet! Ich spiele am PC.

Me too but i'm on steam, he doesn't wanted my garnet I think but now i'm stuck with the boot and the ball, and I can't do anything

I'm having a different issue with this quest. I can't seem to feed any of the animals for WALL-E's quest.

Same, my game is soft-locked due to this and the ticket form just doesn't submit & throws an error when trying to send the information.
