I find that extremely hard to believe they don't have ANY fishing spots done at all at Sunlit Plateau but they have plenty of them in the Forgotten Lands, and let's not forget, the Forgotten Lands is only accessible after you've unlocked Sunlit Plateau and you've earned 15k dream points. Not to mention more often than not the one most common thing you constantly get from Moana's boat is seaweed which is for the most part useless seeing as you can catch so many of it freely.
Well, you don't have to believe it, but it is true. I have everything unlocked and upgraded and there's no fishing zones in that area. In order to get the Walleye you need for a recipe you have to upgrade Moana's fishing boat all the way. It's extremely expensive, keep in mind. Once you put a lot of hours in the game you'll see there's quite a bit that isn't the way it should be.
It just honestly blows my mind that they couldn't put in fishing spots for Sunlit Plateau but were more than capable of putting fishing spots in the Forgotten Lands, I've caught at least 10 Anglerfish at this point lol. Plus I've already fully upgraded Moana's boat to max and I've got 6 characters left to get to level 10, which they are all level 8/9, with the 2 taking the longest being Ariel and Ursula, only because they're useless and have no special bonus and you basically just talk with them and give them their favorite items every day. As to the fishing spots I would've understood having to wait to catch fish in the Forgotten lands but Sunlit Plateau is disappointing tbh.
Why is this disappointing? You even dont need them atm and in the end its an early access game. The whole sunlit area is not finished at all. You have that giant bone at the end of the bridge so its very cumbersome to access the other side (you can only access it by "cheating" with the well or if you unlock the forgotten lands). You cant "clean" the bones atm, there was like not really much going on in this area with quests etc. So you see... Maybe the fishing spots are also story related to unlock, who knows.. You only have to wait a few more days and this problem will be history.
