Game freezes from time to time.

It doesn't matter if you just opened the map, if a character reached a new level, or when you are delivering a remy's order. You can see the buttons light up when you hover around them, the game seems to be working, but nothing works. Suddenly, controller nor keyboard works. but you can move the mouse and see the buttons light up when you move the controller, but that's all. You have to close the game and restart.
Also sometimes the map only shows the characters floating, no map at all (and freezes like mentioned before.)
Maybe freeze is no the word, as it seems to be working somehow, just in coma.

I'm not sure if it's the same issue or not, but I just opened my map and I can't close it. I can move around the map, zoom in and out, but I can't close it to continue playing.

I've had multiple experiences as well. When I give an item to a character, the screen is stuck on the "give item?" window but the conversation actually keeps going when I click my mouse. Sometimes, just completely stuck.

Same here same here, it's really frustrating. For me it's almost always the map that bugs out and freezes everything. I have the give item bug as well.

This happens to me. It's usually I will open the map and notice I cannot use the wells to fast travel. I'll close out of the menu, and then reopen it, and it's stuck on the map page without the map being visible, only my avatar Icon.

This game, at least on the Switch, not sure about PC, is such a hot friggen mess with crashes. I literally have trained my internal mental clock to know approximately when I'm coming up on my 4 min. mark since it seems to only let me play like 5 to 10 min. before crashing out -- and it's always the DAMN partial or full-screen UI (inventory, or the map / memories / collection screen, etc.) It almost NEVER happens just running anywhere. I open any of my chests, crash. I open the map, crash. I check my Dreamlight quests crash. The game, for me, is nearly unplayable. Combine that with the loooong loading times and it's like "SERIOUSLY?! It crashed AGAIN?! Now I have to wait the loading times again" and this is playing on a console lol

The game is so damn glitched, I've had times where I either come out of the map or out / in a building, and I'm left with like a grey ellipse (almost like part of a shader was being used to create a growing or shrinking portal effect for screen / zone transitions and then nothing you do can get rid of it (I had gotten it removed ONCE but I can't recall what I did). I literally just crashed hitting the '+' button my Switch controller and the music was still playing but everything else was frozen. I went to home screen and back in, and the problem was still there... It eventually crashed... what an absolute garbage fire. I know it's early access and all, but this feels more like post-alpha / pre-beta (I've been in a bunch of beta PC and even they run better; usually their issue are reproducible bugs that affect something that's not heavily dependent on the user using) but how can you play this game without ever using the UI? lol

I seriously cannot believe that between Disney and Nintendo (both companies that, imho, strive for quality) haven't ripped into gameloft about the releasing something on their console or with their IP, even in early access, that is as unstable as it is.

I am having the same issue, just as of today. Never happened before. But it happened twice in like half an hour. The game still 'runs' - the music goes, the characters move around, I can pan the camera but I cannot click on anything or walk, I cannot even go to the menu via ESC, I have to hit Win and close the game via right clicking ... super annoying. I hope they can fix this soon. Before this, I've never had any problems.

The game has become a joke on Switch, the last couple of days I crash every hour I'd say just randomly.

The Switch can't handle the game at all. very laggy and the menu lag is just awful.

How is it on PC at the moment? is it worth transferring?

Only had the map bug and only once, otherwise only today has the game been a bit slower loading outside clothes shop first time and sometimes freezing for 4 seconds when opening a chest or so

otherwise runs perfectly fine

Sounds good enough, my next problem is that my game has saved only once to the cloud during my 60 hours on Switch.

If I can get it to save il make the move.
