Is there a fix, or do I quit and uninstall?

So, my game is now impossible to complete. I was doing the quest The Remembering for Moana. I got to the part of the quest when you get one of Moana's memories from Maui. The only problem is that he was standing in Scrooges shop behind the counter so when the memory came from Maui, it landed right in the middle of the counter by the cash register in the shop.

It cannot be accessed from any side as it is embedded in the middle of the counter in the shop and because it isn't my shop I cannot access my furniture to move the counter out of the way.

So this leads back to my question, is there a fix for this problem or do I write this off as another Disney failure and uninstall the game? I say it like this because I have put too many hours into this game as it is and if I have to start over then it will simply be removed from my machine.

On Sept 27th, the devs posted an announcement regarding the patch that they plan to release in the next few weeks (no exact date has been given yet). They said there will be 40+ fixes, and one of those is for "Quest: Items stuck in store's counter." So a fix for your issue will be out soon.

This is going to sound really cranky, so apologies in advance, but this gets posted about multiple times a day. A quick search can help determine if something has already been asked and answered, or if it's something new nobody has encountered yet, etc. Sadly, we can't pin answers. Not that anybody would read it if we could ...

Hey, I freely put my hands up and admit it. I am a lazy gamer. I wanted an answer and couldn't be bothered to do a search. Kind of ironic as this post would have taken me more time to write as it would have taken to do a search.

The update is supposed to be October 18th, though they've said it could be a couple days earlier or later.

@Kat Ballou did they list anything about the Donald Duck fountain quest bug? A lot of people can't get him to recognize that they did put the 'ribbons' (flags) out. Thanks.

I came in to see if there was a date for the next patch.

They said there are over 40 fixes in the patch/update and didn't give us a list of those items, other than two of the quest issues (unable to collect the lightbulb and items stuck in the store counter), probably because those are two of the most commonly reported issues. Still no concrete date given, but we have to be getting close now.

You had mentioned one thing that will be fixed, in specific, so I thought perhaps they had released a literal list or partial list.

Edited to fix a typo so will also clarify in this edit: I meant, he follows my av around when it's the default quest. (Only one active.) Then the train whistle and the hand walking...

I wouldn't worry too much about this sort of thing. There was a bunch of other stuck item locations(one of the worst being in Donald's place), but they fixed them. Now people have found some other locations and people are fixing them. It is early access and eventually they will get it all worked out.

The game isn't meant to ever have to restart over, so that should never be a solution.
