WAY Too Many Night Shards

As someone who is slightly OCD, I find myself compelled to dig up all the sparkly holes that appear, but this has resulted in FAR too many Night shards. They can't be sold, and there's nothing to craft them for other than purified shards, which I can't make because I'm not able to get more dream shards. They also don't despawn, so dropping them is out of the question.

Is there plans to make dream shards also drop when digging and lower the rate at which night shards drop? Or does anyone know how to get rid of these thigs for good?

I'm keeping a stack of 99 just in case. It's still EA so things are bound to get added, quest, more furniture to craft, hopefully a daily gift as well. Digging really is lacking in things you can get to the point where it's almost useless to set someone's bonus perk to digging.

Totally agree. There needs to be some purpose for the night shards, which hopefully the devs will add 🤞. Otherwise there needs to be other things that you dig up to balance the game and make digging worthwhile.

None of us knows what plans they have for the game as it progresses, but the devs did say that in this next patch, they are "improving the dream shard frequency" so that should help everyone that has run out of dream shards for one reason or another.

Like I said in my original post, I HAVE to, lol. I cannot leave them there, it bugs tf out of me.

Right, I understand it's still Early Access and that none of us know the plans. I was mainly hoping there would be a dev on here checking (sometimes there are).

I actually almost didn't have enough for Merlins level 10 quest this morning. I guess not digging came back to haunt me.
