Coconut glitch

I am stuck on the Maui quest because my coconut tree disappeared before it became a coconut tree and none has spawned. It has been two days. Anyone else? It was still in its plant stage after I watered it twice and it was gone when i reopened my game.

I also have the common Donald Duck houseboat glitch so I am stuck on two quests and it is getting very frustrating. Is there no way to contact support directly to resolve an issue?

I have the same coconut glitch, watered it twice, went to grab something on a differnt part of the village, came back and it was gone T^T Did you ever figure out how to fix it?

they fixed it in the patch for me

Is this resolved, I too have this problem and unable to get a coconut tree to grow or show up. unable to plant another. Stuck in the game until i can move forward on these Maui quests.. thanks for the help!

I finally found the tree it was were i planted it but it looked like all the other trees in the area and didnt show up any different on the map so i got cunfused. But when I aproached it a pop up saying collect appeared, and i was able to. If you intially planed it by a bunch of other trees, try slowly walking around them looking for the lil pop up.

It's a bit confusing...

I had to look it up online. I did not have a bug but I was a tiny bit panicked and I thought I had messed it up.

The coconut tree gave a fruit. I picked it and the tree disappeared. Or was it a plant at the time. Anyway...

Then nothing, and I needed more coconut. I looked it up online, again.

I finally figured out that some trees had grown in random spots on the beach. I think I got 3 trees. Not sure. They are surrounded with brick like the banana trees are. The coconuts aren't that obvious. So while I ran past each one I thought it was a banana tree and ignored it.

I was expecting a huge, natural tree, like in a different game. It's a little curated tree with a brick base.

Somewhere explained that after the first coconut tree blossoms and bears fruit, then you don't have to plant any other coconut trees.

I had kept waiting to plant more...and looking for seeds etc...

But the game itself spawns more coconut trees without telling you. I feel they might make that a bit more clear, and prompt you to go find the trees, maybe show a picture of it, and ask you to go get more coconuts off the trees.
