Disappearing Chest

In my house I had a wall lined with chests for storage. I expanded my house with a room to the side and two of my chests disappeared with all of my items inside them. Has anyone else had this problem? I cant go back and undo because the game has already saved.

I have the same problem. Haven't found a solution yet.
With me it was the chest with all my gems and dreamshards (i had 80). Now im super stuck in the mother gothel quest because i need 5 and everyone is locked in their houses...

Ich habe auch meine Lagerkisten verloren, das ist echt nicht witzig (im Gegenteil, sogar sehr ärgerlich), kann man seine älteren Spielstände nicht wo finden?

I also lost my storage boxes, which is really not funny (on the contrary, even very annoying), can you not find his older game stands where?

I also had my storage chest against the wall when I upgraded my house. The game crashed and when I restarted my chests and all their contents were completely gone. This means I lost all of my dream shards, a lot of other valuable items, but also I lost the plant from the dark grove which is a required quest item that doesn't seem o respawn, Now I cannot complete the Kristoff quest to find Donald duck. Major game breaking bug. Please fix.

I pulled all my chests away from the wall after people started reporting that they lost a chest or two when a doorway to another room is created. Someone reported that when they checked their furniture inventory under the storage icon, the chests were there and when they placed them back down, they still contained the original inventory. So try that and see if you can recover the missing items. If you can't get the inventory back, it would be worth opening a support ticket.

As Kat said, it's definitely worth opening a ticket. The chests don't always appear back in the inventory of the furniture tab sadly, but if you need the shard to craft items then at least they are still showing up in the crafting station even if nowhere to be found otherwise. Sadly, you won't be able to pick them up or find them at all if you need them on their own if your chest didn't show back up in your inventory. Hopefully the support can help all of us with this, as it is very much so game breaking.

Same, I lost my couch and 2 chests when I upgraded the house. I can still use the things in my chest when I cook though.
