Breaking the Ice Bugged? [ Bug ]

I didn't experience anything where Elsa is stuck inside of something or somewhere she should not be... however I am experiencing something completely different with the step after you've cleared out the Ice in front of the cave itself. I am stuck on the step to Follow Elsa inside of the cave to explore. The quest is saying "Follow Elsa to explore the Ice Cavern" but I am not able to follow her nor is she giving any prompts to even do so no matter what I have done.

My only guess is I glitched out the game by going inside 'without' her and clearing it out already? I am not sure. I honestly wished there was a way to 'drop' a quest and then pick it up again even if you have to start over.

Same issue here. So this is bugged which stops progression with another character and the donald questline is bugged at the first quest for him. I also have another one bugged that i can not think of atm. It is a bit discouraging when one bug affects progression with others.

I've had her responding to me often but never have I had her actively attempt to go to the cave no matter what I've done. Selecting the quest doesn't prompt her to go, deselecting it does nothing. I've gone into the cave and came out to have her teleported in on my head. Nothing seems to be working so I guess we'll have to wait until a patch comes out. I saw mentions of a patch soon so hopefully that'll fix many of the bugs I've been experiencing.

Such as the my camera just randomly teleporting around when I'm getting out of menus or being stuck in the menu and having to completely restart the game because the map is completely blank and I cannot exit it. I know it is in early access and I -love- this game but so many bugs are making me more than a little frustrated for sure.

LMAO Hey can we talk about the ice? Unless you mean the one GIANT block that I cannot break yet then there isn't any Ice left for us to discuss my dear XD

The worst part is I'm pretty sure you NEED to do this quest in order to get the final upgrade for your Pickaxe to remove the Giant Ice blocks.

Interesting, I wonder if the reason for this bug or glitch is because I've accidentally 'soft-locked' myself by doing the quest out of order without thinking. Whelp... time to hope they patch and fix the issue.

But thoughts are, after watching a video on Youtube by Kang (Avoid These Mistakes! | Disney Dreamlight Valley is the name of it) he tells you to read the quests carefully and since I was in 'autopilot' at least with what to do, maybe going into the cave instead of waiting for Elsa to prompt you to follow her into it may have soft-locked my game because I've removed all the Thorns and Ice from inside and therefore she doesn't know what to even do now because it's gone.

Has anyone who experienced this glitch had it resolve? I just started playing about a month ago and hit this quest and am having the same problem. I go into the cave but Elsa isn't in there to follow, so the quest never advances.

I completed this quest two days ago so it's not a universal problem.

Ope, never updated this. So I'm pretty sure I had already tried asking Elsa to follow me before going back in the cave and it hadn't worked then, but I tried after the latest update and that did work. Huzzah!
