Peacemakers Quest - Bug?

Crafted all of the seafood, gave it to Maui, made the oar, gave it to Moana but appear to be stuck on listening to their conversation. They never go near one another to talk. I've tried having them each individually hang out with me and then loitering near the other one to see if they'll have it randomly - no - I've tried logging off and coming back in, nothing. Cannot get them to have this discussion to finish the quest. Possibly bug. Anyone have a workaround?

when the one following you is near the other one, try telling them you are done hanging out. When they talked for me, it was at the first well by the castle.

close and restart game worked for me

Updating to add: When I woke up this morning, I popped back on and Maui and Moana were randomly on a bridge having the conversation, so the quest did finally complete for me!

Having this same issue. The quest just will not finish. Tried all the tricks listed.

Yeah, I don't think it completes if you have one of them as a follower. I tried pushing Moana towards Maui so many times while she was following me and it didn't work. But once I had her stop following me and entered and exited my house it worked. So I definitely think it stops the conversation if one of them is a follower.
