No longer picking up Dream Shards or Wheat Seeds

The title basically gives the context. I have opened 2 different areas and am no longer picking up Dream Shards when I destroy the weeds, and therefore cannot finish Merlin's quest to give him 10 Shard.

Additionally, in the first area I was picking up Wheat Seeds before, and they are no longer dropping anywhere. I evidently bought out all of Goofy's Wheat and now have no way of growing or gaining anymore. I need 5 more for the Restaurant quest. Not sure if this is a bug or intended - and I'm wondering if Goofy will restock at a certain time in the morning?

I encountered the same situation regarding wheat seeds, so for anyone in the same boat here's the solution: update Goofy's Stall (by clicking on a Scrooge sign next to it) for 500 coins and you will unlock wheat seeds (not just wheat) in his stall which costs 1 coin a seed and seems to be in limitless supply (at least I managed to by 99 and it's still there)

goofy should get new stock daily. and each area the thorns drop different seeds, the meadow is carrot seeds for example. if it didn't restock i have to ask did you mess with the system clock at all? are you getting anything (like coal) from the thorns or nothing at all? the shards are not a 100% drop, in fact they use to be rarer they increased the drop rate for them. do you have a shovel? try digging up the cracks. also try feeding the animals their fav food. squirrels you won't be able to early game but bunnies love carrots. fav food gives a chance for them to drop motifs or shards. but only if it is the first time feeding them that day
