Scallops not respawning?
I'm trying to do Ariel's quest where she wants a crafting station built, but I swear the scallops aren't respawning. I have 7 out of 10. How long do they take? I'm sure it's been over a day and yet I see none on Dazzle Beach. There really needs to be another place where you can harvest them.

Pick up not only scallops (the blue ones), also pink ones. I was struggling with respawning as well and then decided to pick up all shells. After that, scallops did respawn and I finished the quest.

The game does seem to reward a quicker respawn if you collect other items. I have had the mining spots actually respawn quickly just because I was getting everything in sight. You should upgrade to the bigger suit inventory. It really helps to avoid having to run to the store every five minutes to offload extra supplies.

Have you checked the little island not far from the beach?

Yeah, now that I think about, the mining spots do respawn quickly for me too because I mine all of the ones in a single area. And my backpack is almost fully upgraded actually, so I have plenty of space for now. It only needs 1 more final upgrade.

Yeah, I was checking that. My main problem was not collecting the pink shells too, that's why the scallops didn't respawn. All good now.
