foxes not taming with 14 feedings

i fed the foxes 14 times in all, even used the hard to get White Sturgeon to feed them, and still, i have not even 1 tamed.
why is the fox not tameable? am i missing something with the foxes?

same here. i think either it's random taming everyday you get 1 or 2 critters maybe you get none or the feeding is random like one time i fed a green turtle a seaweed and i didn't get it then i feed blue & black esh turtle an oyster and i got it. you know the birds you feed based on colors i feed the green bird the green lily and i don't get it,i fed orchid bird the flower based on it's color (i think it's orange something) and didn't have it also but when i fed the same flower to red bird i got it. the same red bird you suppose to feed it red flower i fed it the orange flower and have it. so maybe change the food everyday to something they like not love. experiment until you get it. that's what i'll do in upcoming days.

I've unlocked all but the orange fox. I don't know how they unlock, maybe it's just like 50/50 thing after feeding them but some critters I have fed multiple times and haven't unlocked and some I unlock after feeding it only two times. I think feeding them their favorite food each time is your best bet.

right! so it's based on color like birds too!! i figured cause i feed the blue turtle an blue oyster and got it! okay thanks i'll try tomorrow based on colors cause i have ever item in the game and i'll update here if i don't forget

try based on colors and see. orange fox try an orange fish maybe!?

You have to feed a specific animal 2x to 'tame' them. So blue fox twice, not just two foxes.

hmm but you can only feed critter once a day as far as i know

but i always feed them i've already fed every color of critters the favorite food multiple of times now a lot actually.

true. me too and i always feed them peanuts so idk why other critters not apply the same logic when feeding them their favorite food. i'll do some experiments and see.

Apparently its a bug of some sort, multiple people are actually reporting not being able to tame numerous different ones at different points. Or the food isnt what it should be.

The food thing could easily be Disney making a ninja change with no update info on the foods though.

I dont know if they said it directly, but the oven with hood for example, was working after their last update. I am just not sure if they have a list of changes like that or not, and the foods could easily be one of those changes.

just got the black fox with a tilapia. gave the other fox a tilapia, but on go with him.
