Whats the issue? Isn't that hard to get them since the spots come back every 10-15 minutes and you have 4 zones to mine for iron.

Best zones for iron are the Glade and the Forest. There are others that have them as well, but in smaller numbers. I just didn't try to rush the quest all at once and did one round of both areas every 20 minutes or so. Took a while but didn't drive me nuts lol

Forest is the worst for me, there are 3 open initially and 2 are close but one is super far.

The swamp area has 4 in a line and pretty close to each other.

Yeah, both of them are definitely better once you can get to the other side of the bridge. If you're feeling cheeky you can move the well across to the other side to get access early.

Wait until you need 10 scallops. Also, start hoarding gold bars and iron bars as soon as you can.
