This game is never existed and was a scam.

From the Author, 2 and a half years ago.

Me - as the author and creator of the game - can assure you that Viking City Builder is being made and will be released soon (probably there will be a demo released in a while). As you probably know, making a game isn't easy at all; it's a really complicated and time-consuming process, especially when you make it by yourself. Keep in mind please, that this kinda productions take years to create and usually a whole team of developers do it. All I ask is a patience and understanding. Add Viking City Builder to the wishlist and you'll soon find out that the game will be real product on Steam."

Salient points are that we've been promised release, demos etc without even new art work being released (other then the oh so powerfully compelling single start menu LOL) and he/she now claims its a team working on it when it started off as a single person project so that was the excuse for delays.

This game is a wishlist scam, I can't really understand the motives, my only assumption is that this person wishes to use this on a resume to say "Worked on game Viking City Builder for 2 years then moved on before publication so can I have a job here please? I totally have developed before"

Other then that a social experiment?

Have you considered the reality the world has had a few things happen in the last few years. you know little things like the Ukrainian war which has caused changes to lots of peoples lives, solo developers are normally holding down a day job and working on this when they can, due to inflation and other factors the game may be delayed but don't call it a scam until they have taken money and then break the game more than fix it.

sad thing is, kids today don't understand about real world and an actual job, or what its like to work for a living... So, they cry, scam with out giving anyone a penny, which always makes me laugh...

You haven't been scammed, you just spend your life on a forum telling everyone some game wont be made... and it will make not one bit of difference to anything... You're wasting your own time and blaming someone else. If you're so sure it'll never happen, unwish it, leave the forum and get on with whatever life you have outside of here?
