I did not see one cut scene in Manor lords so if you ask me the battle Ai and the cut scenes are totally different and it seems the cinematic's are non existent in Manor Lords.

I think that this game has some very bad rep for a pre-release game without solid confirmations on release windows or even demo's. Yes some of the graphical elements are questionable in "authenticity" but no one said the developer couldn't make a thematic Viking game with some fantasy elements. It is slightly dubious that there is no "contact" page for the developer or email listed anywhere but maybe that's because the man placed all his efforts on building the game. If there are some borrowed elements then maybe that's what we will see. Most games in the genre have a lot in common. I am however trying to stay optimistic.

Do you honestly think that this guy (only one developer actually from what I know) was able to build this whole game in 4-5 months?

Well as long as the game asset is not plagiarised, developer can copy the game mechanism (it is not protected by IP). I am more interested into this theme compared to middle age lol, hopefully got some actual beta game play video to see how it goes

I agree with you, MALD.

As long as no one can prove that it is a rip-off, there are only accusations based on assumption.

I like both games, as i like both settings, so both are on my wishlist.

I would say, let´s wait and see, the time will tell.

Well atleast now I know the developers pay people to talk nice about their game. Which makes it more suspicious of being a scam
