why keep delaying the release date on steam? the game has been finished LONG ago why keep delaying the game if its alreddy finished?

Edited 10/30/22: It looks like the developers updated how the DLC works, see their note from 10/29/22. So I purchased the Living Dead Girl DLC and installed it, but there seems to be no way to access it from within the game itself. I checked the dev's Twitter and it seems like it's an issue with the Steam page that they are waiting for a fix on, but I discovered a workaround to access the DLC-- although I am not sure if it will sync the achievements until the actual page is fixed. How is this verified, it doesn't work literally at all? I can't even enter a name because the keyboard won't pop up. Probably just going to refund unless someone knows a workaround. :/
