Probably a stupid question but re: Big Crunch...
Are we just supposed to let them keep happening? I can't ever seen to end up with more than two galaxies before they do, even if I actively and closely try to engage with the game instead of just idling it. Is the goal just to spend one infinity at a time until we unlock enough bonuses for something else to open up? It feels like I should be working towards some cumulative goal instead but Big Crunches keep happening and resetting everything. I'm sure I'm misunderstanding and missing something, hence asking.

Thanks.

Okay, so it is just wait and spend one infinity at a time until some new tier or paradigm unlocks. Thanks!

If I remember it corectly you should already have access to the break infinity tab, which should then tell you what you need to do in order to actually unlock anything on that tab. But for now all you can really do is spend your infinity points, either on upgrades, or, if you already got all, the IP gain doubler, an dother than that the autobuyers so you can speed up your infinities more. I at least assume that by now you already did all challenges.

Also, getting 2 galaxies is rather slow, you should avoid that for now, obviously except when doing challenges. 1 Galaxy is usually much quicker, especially once you got the upgrade to always start with 1 galaxy. But once you unlocked that new feature you again want more galaxies.
^ No, I'm still just going through the challenges lol. I was just wondering if I was supposed to be reaching Big Crunches that fast or if I was missing something that I needed to be actively engaging with more to avoid getting them before amassing galaxies. I'm reassured to know it's how it's supposed to work. I don't have a Big Crunch autobuyer yet (that I can see anywhere.) So I assume I just need to complete all the challenges and keep upgrading things iteratively.

crunch buyer is from challenge 12
^ Yeah I'm only about halfway there yet. I know i could just grind out 16 infinities but I figure I might as well go through all of them one by one and get them knocked out while I'm at it.

dont do challenges too early. you can do c8 which is easier than a regular infinity, but the other challenges you should only do after having 3 columns of infinity upgrades
^ Well that explains why C9 feels virtually impossible lol. Okay that will be my next step then.

Yeah, challenges become much more doable if you can infinite within a few minutes, or even seconds.
So should I be banking infinities on my way to having enough to fill out the infinity bonus board, or should I just spend them as soon as I have enough for each one, ideally? Is it worth waiting to have the bonuses for unspent infinities? Or should I just trudge through it? Either way I'm almost done getting all 16 at this point lol. Only the final four remain. Just curious.

Edit: Banking infinities rather than spending them doesn't feel worth it unless I have a ton, still extremely slow going even with 20. So I spent excess on the reduced interval costs for automators instead. Still taking forever to reach even 40 infinities though lol.

Maybe I'm missing something (I probably am) but the fastest I seem able to crunch even watching it like a hawk and boosting as soon as possible up to 7 times, getting 1 galaxy, using Dimensional Sacrifice at 500x or higher, with 12 infinity upgrades, and two upgrades on each automator I have access to, is every 8 minutes. To reach 40 would require me to do that for like five and a half hours or more lol.

Probably just going to turn it off and come back in a few days and let infinities accrue since I have passive IP generation now. (Only the final four Infinity upgrades left.)

Edit: Still taking forever lol. Down to 6 minutes now, though. And only two Infinity upgrades left. But of course to get enough for both will still take forever. Thought maybe spending more on inverval upgrades for the automators might help. It... didn't really. Lol. So back to just waiting it out offline.

Edit again: 9 days since last edit. Still excruciatingly slow lol. I'm at 133 infinities now and saving up for the 300 required for the final infinity upgrade.

Edit yet again: Okay I completed all challenges. Spent my banked Infinities on automation upgrades, but I'm getting infinities every one and a half minutes or so now. So all I have to do is wait overnight and I should finally have the 300 needed for that final unlock on the infinity board lol. I hope this means I'm over the hump!

Final edit for a while: Okay, all Infinity upgrades purchased, and the two additional ones that unlocked (a few levels of the first one at least,) and lots of automation upgrades later, I now get several IP every few seconds if I use an auto-clicker, or set everything to buy max and wait 'til 10. But that necessitates keeping the game open. With the new infinity upgrade giving me 50% of my best IP time offline though, that will still accrue a lot of IP if I just leave the game and come back every few days now. So hopefully things will pick up the pace massively, now.
