I’m still really new to Mr mine and I mainly play on mobile but I was wondering what relics I should be using like amounts I have bought two slots already and I have 1 book of secrets and dug to around 925k down

With regard to relics, I'm currently using:
8 Golden Scythe (max) @ 10% each for 80% total chance a scientist will reincarnate.
4 Fuel Extractor @ 12.5% each for 50% increase in drone fuel regeneration speed in the cave.
8 Sparkly Distraction (max) @ 10% each to decrease blueprint cost by 80%

Others will surely have different relic load outs and recommendations.

your relic loadout may change as the game progresses

three id recommend are actually all books

black book - book of secrets.
-dont want to spoil it
-keep one or two on hand but you wont need them yet
-basically save them or one

yellow book - book of success.
-increases excavation success rate by 10% each (scientists digging)

blue book - book of ingenuity.
-allows building materials to be found in chest by 6% each.
-i think base is zero, so 6% allows them to be found.
-very important because building materials are used alot and hard to find large amounts.

chest and caves drop scientist. i have like 8 scientists on stand by, ready to use when one dies.

copper/golden Pickaxe
- specially "early on" you go through depths rather quickly and this gives a nice bonus there.

blue book
- if you need more materials (you DO get them in chests even without this)

key of gold
- getting that to the max gives a huge boost in chest-rewards overall (the increase is not linear as the chance might make it look like)


And with further progress you also might want to change the relics. For example Book of Time is rather good in general.
