Expansion Pass
Im so excited for this game since it launch on switch but because i dont have a switch i cant play it.

The price for deluxe is a bit to much for me, so to anyone who alrdy played the switch version, does the expansion pass worth it?

I never really care about costume/outfit in any game, but does the added marriage candidates and the sub-events really needed for me to fully enjoy the game?

Thank you!

i'd recommend you skip it.

the marriage candidates are not worth it because they stay in their own respective areas aside from your spouse, who will (kind of) live at your house on the farm. meaning, they never actually venture out into the town, nor do they participate in any events. they'll wake up at your house in the morning, leave to spend all day at the dlc island they came from, then come back to sleep at your house at night. the other dlc characters also don't interact with the main town or events. the new areas are very small and don't offer any new forageables/crops/fish/etc. either.

aside from new candidate heart events, the expansion pass only adds two scenarios, mystery files and the legendary sprite dance. while cute and fun, they're fairly short and you're only rewarded with more costumes once you finish them.

tl;dr: the dlc feels extremely dull and should not have a $20 price tag. if you don't really care about the variety of costumes, there's not much left to be excited about. unless you're 100% deadset on only marrying a specific dlc marriage bachelor or bachelorette, not owning the expansions shouldn't have any impact on you enjoying the base game.

They're not needed but definitely adds to the overall enjoyability of the game. I'm not 100% sure if I'll double dip on this just yet, but I waited for the final DLC to come out and just got started on the first dlc stuff.

Someone know if the princess Sakuna costumes will be part of the expansion pass? Or you will have to buy it after?

Well, you will be dissapointed...it is a bland game, the characters are forgetable the dlc's dont matter that much...it is a game to play and forget...im sorry but is true...day one since switch release...ayed like a week, finished the game story and then there is no purpose to continue playing...no festivals,no contests no nothing...

honestly just go play Trio of Towns until the SoS matures on the switch I'd give them 2-4 titles to get the game play issues sorted

I'm exactly buying this game because I'm going to be BUTT hurt (I didnt enjoy the first SoS title which this game vaguely resembles) until RF5 pops out when ever that maybe... next year...? this year...
