I've noticed I had to repeatably spawn webs to move stuff around. The gears in the ant area for example. I had to use anywhere from 2 to 70 web bridges per gear. It seems excessive. Am I missing some important tech or is this just a part of the game?

you can also shoot it... hang it in place with a few webs and stand under it to shoot it. You cann also use the pull faction with R1 on controller to drag it. Youll get the hang of it and more or less get used to it while playing.
