Is my game broken?
Working on my first playthrough. I expanded the arcade once after talking to my sister and getting the money to do so, but now I seem to be stuck. I don't have any more messages on the computer, and I can't expand any further. I also have 2-3 empty arcade slots still available but no machines to buy. I noticed watching other play throughs that people have jukeboxes, I don't have one and don't see an option to buy one. It seems that the only thing I can do is the To-Do list to get upgrades. I've almost purchased them all and I have over 20K in the safe, so I've been putting in my time. I think I have 3 left that I haven't purchased, the glasses, the car, and maybe one other that I can't think of right now. Do I need to get all of the upgrades before something will happen or is my game broken? I feel like I'm missing a story prompt somewhere.

The way the game generally progresses is:
Buy most/all machines from Arcade Mania
Expand arcade (in one instance this bulk spend is used for a non-arcade-expansion that adds an additional icon to your computer)
Rinse/repeat.

The ebay/pound upgrades are entirely optional and don't directly progress the story, just aid you in getting more cash per day.

From a playthrough I watched, I saw someone get bugged to where they weren't getting new chats until they saved, exited, and reloaded their game. Worth a try if you haven't already.

Hm, I've definitely saved and exited, as I just kept playing over the past few days thinking maybe I just didn't do whatever the thing is that I need to do.

My friend experienced the same issue in the same spot. The computer can be very glitchy with mouse controls. When you're scrolling up and down in your list of arcade machines, you are likely skipping over available ones (including the jukebox). If you possibly have a controller, I fully recommend using it to get the computer to work correctly (I recommend it for the full game but to each their own).
If you don't have a controller, using the arrow keys and enter key to navigate the computer should allow you to see the missing items in Arcademania. Once those missing items get ordered delivered, your story should progress.

Yes use WASD or a controller it can sometimes help if you have missed a machine in Arcade Mania.

That was it! My mouse was scrolling over the jukebox and the racing game. Using the controller slowed it down enough to see them where I couldn't before. Thanks!

Thank you. I had to scroll with the arrow keys; the mouse wheel was skipping 3 games I had available
