It’s finally here! The Shujinkou Original Soundtrack 🎷 is now streaming on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and more!

With 158 tracks and over 7 hours of music across more than a dozen genres, our composers have captured the heart of our world, battles, and countless gripping story moments.

We want to sincerely apologize for the delay—our distributor hit some snags, but we’re thrilled to finally share this with all of you. Thank you for the overwhelming support and kind words we’ve received about the music so far!

Critics have already started taking notice during the release period:

This game looks interesting, but that price...

I love the concept of this game and everything about it looks good, but I feel these devs may have shot themselves in the foot with this pricing. The game with DLC rivals Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 in price, even without it's awfully close... and I feel like a dungeon crawler with language mechanics is just going to be far too niche. For now I'll be keeping it on my wishlist but the devs may want to consider bundles with other games or work out a sales schedule; cause for such a niche genre that is one of...

Polish / Quality of Life

PC Players: You can now select Nintendo Switch input icon set for glyph controller overrides in the Options Menu.
PC Players: With this patch, we've confirmed on a number of different ultrawide monitors that the game works properly on them now!*
PS4 Players: FPS has been improved and crash rate has been greatly reduced.

Bug Fixes

Fixed an issue where you could use GR-based Drink Items in the labyrinth.
Fixed an issue where one kanji was improperly flipped in Labyrinth 9.
Fixed an issue where six Story Items were missing some text in Labyrinth 9.
Fixed an issue where Dairy ingredients could not be purchased in Chapter Two.
Fixed a shader issue with layering of certain effects in Labyrinth 10.
Fixed various typos and other small issues reported by players.
Fixed missing Story Goal Indicator (!!) in Town 10.
Fix occasional resolution issues on startup when playing on Steam Deck.
Fixed an exception that would occur when spamming "Undo" in Jin's Nen'oshi.

Miscellaneous

Improved the AI for Brilliant enemies in Chapter Two.
Increase the move speed of a certain Yajuu in Labyrinth 9.
Added a couple of new Explanations that appear after the main campaign has been finished. These can be found by talking to civilians in various towns. We will add a few more Explanations as bonus add-on content (for free) for v1.37.

Our Biggest Priorities

PS5 Demo Save Data Transfer functionality is still a work in progress.
We want to add a "Fast-Forward" (by holding a certain key) to some minigames so that they can be played and progressed through more quickly.
D-pad issues for movement

Please note that all of these changes, as well as updates from Patch v1.35, are now reflected in the Demo version of Shujinkou!

For that PRICE TAG it'd be worthy if the game had more TRANSLATIONS besides English only. Like Portuguese, Spanish, German, Italian and Chinese

For this price tag the game should've had more language translations besides only English, it'd be a great learning tool if the devs cared to place other languages too. I hope it can be added not long, I guess this way it'd sold even more, even with a price tag of 60$....

Tutorials

I just started playing and entered the forest, but I must say I find the tutorials quite confusing. I carefully read the orbs explanation before my first battle but couldn't understand it at all. So then I thought I'd figure it out by playing it, but it's still all supervague to me. I encounterd a wolf, pressed attack, then R2 to show the orbs, then selected one with my left joystick. It felt awkward because recentering the joystick unselects the orb again. So I press X while holding the L-stick on an o...
