We know we’ve taken our time but we have had to ensure that all systems are working as intended with this new update. Alongside the first iteration of co-op we are also introducing a bunch of very much needed fixes, so you can finally experience Pizza Slice as it should be. 

1. Added Co-Op mode to the game.

   We’ve added co-op mode to the game. For the time being it’s set in a free play or Endless Mode if you will. There’s no tutorial nor story but you can play with your buddy for as long as you want. It’s recommended to play through a few days in single player for the tutorial before you jump into co-op.
   We found some unexpected issues with the campaign in co-op that could cause game breaking bugs or soft locks. We decided to postpone adding the story in, until we can resolve all of the issues. We’re already patching it up and expect the story mode to fully launch in co-op in the next update. 

2. Fixed dialogue and cutscene issues which may have caused soft locks for some players.

   Instances in which a cutscene or a dialog would not launch have been fixed. This includes:

   • Days 4, 16, 17, 18 - all tasks have been fixed and should properly display during gameplay.

   • Fixed the cutscene not launching properly for every player on Days 13, 14.

   • Fixed issues with events occurring on Day 10: the waitress dialogue will now appear properly; the waitress pop-up image will now display properly; the tutorial with the phone works now as intended. 

   • Fixed issues on Day 21: all dialogues should now appear properly; all tasks will now properly display for the player; any ongoing tasks will now be properly recorded by the game.

3. Fixed the issues in Endless Mode where the game would not save past Day 21

   The game will now properly save the game past day 21, allowing you to continue playing in Endless Mode.

4. Added missing dialogue strings to the game.

5. Added missing localisation strings to the loading tips.

6. Added a simple scale for the saucing station when using the starting ladle.

   Now every 25% is marked on the saucing progress bar. To see the progress in percentages you still need to buy the upgrade from the shop.

7. Adjusted and rebalanced the prices in the Mario Décor Shop. 

Story Mode / Campaign for Co-Op play

As mentioned above, we removed the story for now to not delay the patch further. We are already working on resolving these issues and hope to launch the co-op campaign with the next update.

Additional fixes

We are aware that there are more issues that can impact your playthrough. We diligently note down your reports and we will now start addressing them. Expect more fixes soon.

As promised we’re back with another dose of game fixes and requested adjustments. We’re monitoring all of your communication across Steam Forums, Discord and emails and we’re reacting as fast as we can to any new bug reports or requests you might have.

We’re preparing for a bigger update in the following days that will resolve some more complex issues, which require additional development and testing time on our end. We thank you for your patience!

• Fixed an issue where mafia sabotages could occur without any story or gameplay prompt on Day 13.Sabotages will now start occurring in the game starting from Day 14 as was intended.

• Fixed localisation issues in the Day Summary screen.Correct localization should now be visible in all languages.

• Fixed an issue where the player couldn’t take out more than one product from the crate.
  The products unpacked into crates will now unpack from the bottom of the crate up, resolving this issue.

• Fixed the mixed up dialogues in Day 17
  The dialogues will now display properly with appropriate characters assigned to their lines. Any localisation issues connected to them have been fixed as well.

• Fixed the dialogue localisation on Day 04.

• Adjusted the prices for Drink Vending Machines to better showcase their quality.
  The most simplest looking machine will now be the cheapest with better looking selection being a little more expensive.

• Decreased the chances for an ingredient to be locked down for a day.
  You’ve reported that too many ingredients were being locked down for a day and it happened too often. We scaled it down a little bit to make your restaurant a little more predictable.

• Extended the patience (wait time) for the customers on normal and easy difficulty settings. 

  The customers will now wait longer for their order before they leave the restaurant unsatisfied.

• Rebalanced the prices for work station upgrades:

  Topping Space: 200 -> 50

  Dough Kneading Machine 2A: 450 -> 350

  Dough Kneading Machine 2B: 1500 -> 1000

  Pizza Oven Tier 1: 1500 -> 1100

  Slicing Space Tier: 250 -> 50

  Slicing Machine Tier 2B: 1750 -> 1000

  Ladle: 100 -> 50

  Deluxe Ladle: 125 -> 75

• Rebalanced the value of bills you had to pay each day to keep running the restaurant.

  Easy

  Waitress: 15 -> 5

  Billing: 50 -> 25
  
  Med

  Billing: 105 -> 75

  Hard

  Billing: 180 -> 130

  Containers costs:

  Medium: 40 -> 45
  Hard: 30 -> 40

• Rebalanced the evening peak for clients entering the restaurant.

  The evening client peak will now begin 2 hours earlier - during peak hours more clients will enter the restaurant.

  The overall amount of clients entering the restaurant during peak hours has been reduced by about 10%. 

We’re continuing to work on fixes that have been widely reported but require a bit more time debugging and testing. We estimate to have a bigger patch in a little over a week from now, in which most of them should be resolved.

These, among others, include:

• The remaining issues connected to dialogues or tutorial screens to not appear on screen. These issues can occur on various Days and are not 100% reproducible, meaning not all players encounter them and not all happen on the same days. However, for those unlucky to trigger them, they can create a situation in which the time freezes, locking the players from progressing further. In almost all cases a simple game reload from the autosave should fix the problem, nonetheless we’ve heard reports that some are more malicious. Resolving these bugs is currently our biggest priority and we will be rolling a patch to resolve them as soon as we make sure the solution works properly.

• Endless mode autosaving past Day 21. Currently the game stops autosaving after completing the Campaign. We are working on a solution for this problem right now.

• Fixes to the oven upgrades - currently they reset the following day after they have been installed in your kitchen. 

We’re also doing the final touches on the Co-Op mode and you should expect it to come to the game very soon.
