I don't mind guest characters. But I am personally bummed that we got a guest character before my main Jam made it in.

I think people don't like her, me included, because she doesn't really showcase her combat capabilities in the show. Hopefully they're smart and she has unique gimmick that justifies her existence in the game.

I think adding any guest character is a bad idea, but Lucy is also the best possible guest character they could have.

I mean, the obvious and "easy" choice for a guest character from the Cyberpunk universe was David. Make his archetype a rushdown and the Sandevistan his gimmick. Something like access to more roman cancels than the rest of the roster balanced around a gauge system like Nagoriyuki. Lucy is a strange choice and that's why I'm curious to see what the devs are cooking.

I think Lucy looks more like a GGST character. So i think that alone makes her fit better

Great choice. She fits the GG vibe, as does Cyperpunk (Punk and Rock historically have a good relationship).

I suspect other Edgerunners will cameo somewhere in her character design as well (Intro/Outro, maybe specials, maybe cinematic supers, maybe even her own mechanic like a unique Striker Assist system).

Not much to think, very few know the character. Also no eyecandy. Flatline emotions from most people.

Those who know the character like her, so I guess it's cool if you enjoy the characters background story.
