Seriously, I don't get it.
I think Lucy getting into Strive is a welcomed Surprise.
Why do people have to cry when their Character isn't Added and hasn't been for 3 years now? I feel like that's plenty of time to learn anybody in Strive, And with all the people that complain, I'm sure XRD could be revived.
Yeah sure its a disappointing, but in the end I have no idea why the first thing we do as players is Doom post about how this Hardly even started season is the end of Strive.
We've lived through Wild Assault, I doubt some character is going to kill the game. Chaos never did, and He's still here.

Hello, welcome to guilty gear.
First off to explain to newcomers like yourself there are many legacy players which can be flavorly called character loyalists.
They won't play a new game in franchies until their main gets added.
So yes, this is entirely old players complaining as they would've prefered their main over new characters, same can be said about the previous seasons which added new chars instead of old.

However, i'd honestly call them lucky since most characters who get added to strive get a neutered commandlist and gatlings compared to their previous entry in older titles.

tl;dr: it's jam simp seeth/copium

Yeah as much as i love Venom, Raven,Kum and Jam i also love Goldlewis, the new Jack-O, the new Johnny and the new Testament. It sucks that some people will overlook them entirely since they aren't their character.

That said i understand Venom and Raven loyalists since they are so unique.

i purely don't want Guest characters, cohesion ruined

There's still quite a few highly requested characters that people want added in Strive and a lot of people were hoping season 4 would add those anticipated characters. As a Venom and Dizzy main from Xrd, I'm very happy that they're both being added, so I can understand why some long time players would be unhappy that their mains haven't been added yet. I'm fine with guest characters, but adding both a completely new and a guest character in the same season pass seems like a bit of an odd choice to me.

As far as Unika (the completely new character), I feel like she should just be added to the game for free if Arcsys wants to promote the upcoming GG anime and get more people into the game, and add 2 more anticipated GG franchise characters alongside Dizzy, Venom and Lucy. I doubt there's gonna be another season pass after this one anyways, so why not go all out and give the fans what they want? I have mixed feelings about this new season pass overall.
