Romolla/DEB who's an amazing Guilty Gear player and also has great learning content made a recent overview/guide about current Testament who she's mained for a minute now: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p6jcAUnRlnE
Diaphone, another really good fighting game player, who makes great FG learning content too is currently a Bridget/Brisket main and has 2 guides:
First guide 1-2 months after she dropped as DLC:

then play survival while doing those so you get them to muscle memory so you can do them when enemies are reacting, instead of panicking and messing things up which is usually what happens when you new
if you can get to ~lvl50 on survival then you more than good enough
just don't abuse of things that the AI obviously doesn't react to, like throws for example, it seems to never try to stop throws. you trying to build muscle memory and some reactions not beat survival.
a good idea is to try that with different characters as well so you get an idea of the attack ranges and what you can expect from each range, it helps on defense. or maybe even find a character that fit the way you think better.
besides that try to learn to basic 6P anti-air on reaction, you be surprised how many people just keep airdashing over and over.
Your goal ultimately should be to narrow to amount of concious options necessary to win while catching a majority of options your opponet is capable of.
Lowering the amount of possibilities in the interaction is the main goal of most fighting games at a high level. It allows you to focus on a small set of options rather then everything at once.
