In the main menu, go into "Settings" -> "System Settings" -> "Sync R-Code with server". (The text box mentions that it'll "Download the R-code on the server and apply it to the R-Code in your Save Data. Use this feature when the save data is lost or corrupted." Try using that first if you had any progress synced with the server before.)
If anything, make a backup (or 2, just in case) of your non-corrupted save file by going into C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\GGST\Saved\SaveGames\<folder with numbers> then copy/paste the folder with numbers to a different location, so that next time, if something were to happen to your save data, you can use your backup save to continue where you once were. (Though you may need to toggle the steam auto-cloud settings here and there to make sure that the non-corrupted save data works fine if you get it working properly.)
I tried this method and unfortunately yes, I did lose Missions, Gallery Items and Avatar Aesthetics but I did get to keep my R Code so there was that. Funnily enough I got my favorite track Birthday Train back after only a couple of rolls so I suppose I'm not too upset for the loss. Will definitely make a backup of this save file though. Thank you for your help.
how do you reset it then? since in keyboard you cant press ok to delete the data
