I'm lower level floors but I've seen a decent few I-no's and most of them weren't that bad. Then again I'm not great and I'm playing Chip which keeps getting me into trouble cause I dash too much and it leaves me open with his damn uppercut coming out all the time.
In a nut.
I'm low level I-no.
At least she's fun.
Again, she's a blast once you can get things going in the corner, but neutral is absolute ass with her and she doesn't do as much damage as I wish she did. Gonna be a struggle, but hopefully a fun one.
All my complaints aside, I-No is the ONLY character who can be used to corner legitimately because there is absolutely nothing else she can do.; she's USELESS outside the corner; The split second she's out of the corner she gets quarter-circled-ballet'd and dropped screaming in mastered finesse and hardcore-trained sophistication.
Her mix-up game is nice but it feels like if you dont get the mix she quickly resets to neutral (which she sucks at), whereas a lot of other characters seem to have better ways of continuing their pressure. Im p bad tho, so
I dunno about that, I feel like Pot has some of the best tools to deal with I-No.
You can flick Note and Chemical Love. You can reversal/Punish Light STBT with Potbuster.
5P into HK is a great option to punish Dive into overhead pressure. He has an excellent Reversal/Get off me Super if he gets trapped in the corner. and his 2P is a great button to stuff out low I-No approaches.
As a Celestial Sol main. I can tell you. If you're struggling. You're low approach options are your best options. Sol cant reliably punish STBT out side of getting a perfectly timed grab before it connects. (Which the entire cast can do.) But the risk isnt usually worth it. Or a 2K. Which doesn't combo unless he gets a counter hit. The best we can do is try to 2D to stuff STBT for a reset. So try to play Low heavy on your Mix-up's. As 5k will stuff out most Air/Overhead pressure on block.
As for dealing with Ram. (I don't play Ino) But what works for me is honestly. Just to run at them. their pokes with S/HS. which alot of them like to do. Doesn't really lead into big damage with out the corner. And even with meter. Its a struggle for them to get anything real at max range. That and STBT goes under alot of their normals much like Vortex does. The point is. Possibly Taking a few hits of small damage from Ram and getting in there VS the reward you get for getting in is much more in your favor. I'm telling you. Until you start fighting Ram Pro's at the top of Celestial. "Just run at em" is a very viable option against ram. lol
I feel her neutral is weak once someone uses 85iq and learns to punish Hs. Stroke and that 214k is easy to low profile. With meter you can do some fun RC stuff, but...you need meter which you're not getting much of if you're kept out in the neutral.
