lack of sleep -10" debuff. ......
Good afternoon, tell me. My colonists constantly have a "lack of sleep -10" debuff." Everyone has the best bed and their own room. But they still don't get enough sleep, what's wrong?

In my experience colonists are just really bad at looking after themselves. Most of my colonists are depressed because they'd rather haul stuff across the map in a space suit than spend two minutes in the gym.

Usually colonist sleep can get interrupted due to other unresolved needs, such as hunger, or due to environment issues, like too cold or too hot. You can follow a single colonist that gets this debuff frequently for a while to see what happens when they woke up, or why did they not go to sleep in the first place. It's also possible they can't reach their beds, or the beds are not in a safe location, while still assigned to them.

Yeah, similar story. The temperature and oxygen are fine, the passage is free, the presence or absence of light in the room does not affect it either. They just do their business until they have 5-0% sleep left and only then go to bed. I am now playing for the third company and the situation has not changed.

If you could submit an in-game bug report and paste the ID here, I'd take a look at your save file to determine what could be causing it.

I think crew AI should be tweaked to prioritize their needs higher, interrupting their work (nobody relies on those meatbags anyway lol) when a need drops below some threshold.

I have a guy who's depressed because there is no entertainment, apparently. Meanwhile there's a recreation room full of jukeboxes, treadmills and other stuff.

Another minor improvement would be... order of needs satisfaction I guess? If crewmember is hungry, tired and filthy at the same time he should probably first go to shower/toilet since it takess least time, then go eat (takes more time than shower/toilet but less than sleeping) and then go sleep (sleeping takes longest time). I don't know how it's currently decided but I've seen cases when in the same situation crewmember went to sleep and then soiled himself after waking up or sleep was interrupted because of it.

There's also an issue of mood death spirals. For example somebody has a mood debuff about not having enough sleep/food/etc and this debuff is not removed/reduced when they sleeping/eating/entertaining.

Which could lead to a (hilarious) mental breakdown of fully fed, rested, clean and jolly colonist. Then, during a breakdown about not having a toilet (in some time in the past) dude wanders around ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ himself (and starving, not sleeping and everything else) lamenting about ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ himself. And he does that almost indefinitely until I'm tired of this BS and recycle him since this state is pretty much self sustaining.

In the save, this situation just happened to one colonist and will happen to another immediately after the save moment.
