Don't be like me and put the FTL drive in the front of your ship
Says it bends space time around the front of your ship so I thought that's where it needed to go. By coincidence all my nuclear reactors were behind it. It was quite explosive to say the least.

You do realize that you can set direction of your ship? You can put drives on any side and call it a "tail".
