0.11 - How to communicate with other ships?

I've build a communicator, but when left clicking on it does not give me an option to communicate.

Now it's different, you need to approach space stations from the starmap to trade with them

Communicator behavior will likely be changed in v0.12, for now it will be a dormant device, since trading mechanics have changed.

Please bring the old trading system back, like once a month limit or something, being stranded with the need for carbon fibre or plastic is repeatedly getting quite annoying :)

I was surprised on starting a new game to find I still had to build one: signals on planets are still responded to using the communicator.
