A Short History Lesson
Yes, Rome did not control Ethiopia, but she controlled Egypt and later parts of Nubia (today's Sudan). First Rome extended her ever increasing influence in Egyptian internal affairs; to the point were Rome even decided who was going to become the next king or queen (pharao) of Egypt. The famous general and statesman Julius Ceasar was the strongman (and later outright dictator of Rome) at the time. Caesar fell in love with Cleopatra, who was the last of the Ptolemic dynasty) and simply gave her the crown of Egypt. I think you all saw the various big monumental movies. Especially that one with Elizabeth Taylor…
After both Julius Caesar's and Cleopatra's death (through murder and suicide respectively) and the ensuing civil war, and the transformation of the Roman Republic into a hereditary monarchy, the Roman Empire with its many emperors, of which some were famously mad… Rome, from then on the Roman Empire, took over Egypt outright, conquered and annexed it, and made it an integral part of the Roman Empire. Just like North Africa, Palestine, Greece, Spain, Gaul (later France), Britannia (later England) and parts of Germania (later Germany).
Nubia had already long been the southern part of the old Egyptian kingdom of the pharaos. And even already back then, its main exports had been: gold, ivory — and black slaves. The ancient region of Nubia is today devided between Egypt and Sudan.
After having successfully conquered and annexed Egypt, the Romans were in an ideal position to get lots of black slaves from the Nubian part of Egypt, or from south of the border. The slave trade routes probably followed the course of the River Nile — and probably led directly into the darkest innermost heart of Central Africa. And the Romans quickly developed a tast for exotic black Nubian slaves. The younger and prettier or handsomer they were, they higher the prices were they fetched on the slave markets. And so it went until the Fall of Rome, four and a half centuries later… ;-)
Dear ladies and gentlemen,
I am sorry to inform you that your game has been banned from Steam even before it has been released. At least here in Germany. Whenever I click on the link, I am redirected to an error page with the message: "Diese Inhalte sind in Ihrem Land nicht gestattet." Which is in English: "This content is not permitted in your country."
It would be good if you could contact Steam to clarify the matter. If the matter is not resolved, you will not be able to sell the game via Steam in Germany (and possibly other countries as well). That would be a shame. You would be losing money and I would never be allowed to play that game.
I hope you can solve this problem with Steam soon.
Yours, J.N.
It's not really up to us... Germany bans content like this and Steam is working according to German law. You can always get the game on Patreon though ;)
Dude? Would a VPN help?
It really is ironic because if you look on porn sites some of sickest and most perverted porn stuff you can see are from German porn movies.....
