This game has some interesting ideas but is barely a game with extremely limited content. Sex consists of walking up to a slave, clicking a button, and then holding space until sex is completed. That's it. Punishments use the same interface, except you don't hold space, you move mouse up and down or you click left mouse button until punishment is completed.

This game is pre-alpha stage but being sold as a complete product, so for this reason I can't recommend it.

Remember to check dates on any reviews you're reading, folks. Various fixes and improvements have been made since release, and the devs are still working on more QoL improvements as well as additional content.

Overall, I'd say this game is WAY better than the usual visual novel or half-baked cash grab games we usually get. To be fair, there are still a few buggy spots, but nothing game-breaking. I was able to complete all the quests with only one that gave me a bit of frustration. Once you figure out the quest navigation system, they are all fairly simple.

But, let's be honest. Most of us got as far as reading reviews for the, ahem...'other' aspects of the game. The punishment system for your 'property' does need some improvements, and the devs posted a few days before my review that they are planning some updates in the very near future. The pleasure scenes are the standard: some interaction in the form of changing poses, speed, intensity, and camera angle. There is also a limit on how long the scene can last, due to your 'property' having a limited amount of stamina, but this can be lengthened via their skill trees. You can change their hairstyle, body shapes, and sizes of some of their, um...let's say body parts. Although, this customization system is somewhat limited for them, and so far, almost non-existent for the playable character (another thing the devs are working to improve, but as with all behind-the-scenes stuff in game developing, is proving to be more difficult than a player might imagine. It's in the works, but might take some time.)

(As a side note, the devs seem very active in the community section, and considering how many improvements they have already made, I think it's safe to say we will actually see all of these improvements, upgrades, and fixes happen. I'm not getting the usual release-and-run cash grab vibes like we get with most other adult games here.)

All-in-all, this game is actually far more enjoyable than I would have guessed. Even after the questline is done, you can still keep going with the training, buying, selling, etc. In it's current state, as of the date of this review, I would say it's worth the sticker price. Especially if we see even more improvements and content.

Punish Update (1st person) (WIP)
- 1st person punishment has been changed (Tutorial does not reflect these changes.)
- Player will now click (LMB) and the tool will perform a hit where the tool is aimed. (Instead of moving the mouse up/down to perform the hit action)
- Player will be able to get closer/further to the slave with the mouse wheel, this will make shorter tools easier and more accurate to use.
- New icons for items.

Fixes:
- Fixed Quests and Objectives count for statistics tab
- Tweaked Map for Verona, Mars Realm and Cicero's Villa.
- Updated quest indicators on Verona
- Updated Caesar's hair on sequences
- Fixed Julia wrong Honorific VO (female VO for male character)
- Updated Cicero's texture in Aeliana/Cicero sequence
- Fixed overlapping characters on threesome poses
- Fixed a visible quest area on the Map, when the quest helper is off.
- Fixed an issue where trees didn't have collision.

- Punishment (1st and 3rd person) system are still work in progress. More changes coming on future updates.

A nice departure from the usual "graphic novel" style of NSFW games. The graphics are a bit dated, like pre-covid era, but still enjoyable. The overall story line is a nice re-imagining of Roman history. It does take a little bit of time and effort to get used to, but once you get used to the controls and general game layout, it is quite enjoyable. A nice departure from the usual click and beat games. That being said, the game is still being fixed here and there, and there is quite a bit of future content planned. Highly recommend the game.
